Explosion Hits Crowded Market in Southwestern Yemen
The incident occurred at a market in the DhuBab area, located near the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. Local reports said the site was hit by a ballistic missile.

Videos circulating on social media appeared to show a major explosion occurring inside the crowded marketplace.
The footage showed numerous people gathered around the market before the blast, after which heavy clouds of smoke and dust spread across the surrounding area.
Reports aligned with the Yemeni government said the Houthis were responsible for launching a missile at the market.
Meanwhile, social media accounts associated with the Houthis also shared footage of the incident but described the explosion as the result of an airstrike.
